GUEST STACKERS: KEL & KATE

Happy Wednesday! I am super excited today. Why, you ask??? Because today, we are featuring our first official busywrist GUEST STACKERS!

First up is Kel & Kate, two of my favorite bloggers who happen to be two of my favorite people. WIN-WIN! Kelly and Katie are the stylish/fun/amazing gals behind the Chicago fashion + liefestyle blog Kel & Kate. I had them over for a little Sunday Funday action and documented their stack design process (the three of us always enjoy a good excuse to drink mimosas). For those who are new to Kel & Kate, can you give us an idea of what readers can expect from your blog?

Kel & Kate is a Chicago based fashion and lifestyle blog. We heavily focus on fashion and incorporate our love for décor, food, events and all things Chicago. While we are based in Chicago, we are constantly exploring the world and bring our readers along for the ride!

How would you describe the definition of Kel & Kate style?

Kel & Kate's style is effortlessly chic, but always adding a touch of playfulness. Whether that be a pop of color, an unexpected piece of statement jewelry or some killer shoes. We both have our own individual sense of style, but overall we like to dress in feminine and classic pieces with a modern twist. We are always about accessorizing and believe you can never have too many guests to your arm party!

Tell us about your stack design process. Did you have something specific in mind before diving in to all of those bracelets?

This was such a fun process for us! Immediately, we both fell in love with the hunter jade bracelet and knew it had to be incorporated in our stack. The hunter jade hue is perfect for fall. We had a very difficult time choosing our next piece, but were drawn to the chic textured black and gold nugget wrap. From there, we knew something was missing and thought the black and gold belt bangle tied our stack together perfectly. Neither of us have taken off our stack since we created it!

Now that the Kel & Kate Stack is available for purchase on busywrist.com, do you have any tips on how girls can style their own?

This stack can literally be paired with anything! It can be dressed up or down. Add the stack to an all black ensemble or wear it with your flannel shirt and boyfriend jeans. Don't be afraid to wear it with bright hues, like Kel did here. We believe in the busywrist mantra "The busier the better". We want to see girls take some fashion risks with their Kel & Kate stack!
